This year for the GOJHL MidWestern Awards, our very own Derek Pys has come away with the Defenceman of the Year award for his play during the regular season.
Derek finished his season with 9 goals and 32 assists in 40 games. Going over point per game is quite the achievement in it self, let alone being a defenceman! We extend our congratulations to our captain for having a spectacular season with us.
