New Era for the Cambridge RedHawks

As of today, the Cambridge RedHawks would like to welcome a new ownership group. Led by Rob McIntosh and Eric Boissonneault, the group that purchased the Brantford Bandits last year have now purchase the Cambridge RedHawks. This group of 7 also includes JP Boileau, Jason Stangl, Troy Futher, Blake Secard and Greg Shoniker.

We would like to thank Scott and Kelly Hunter from the bottom of our hearts for their many great years of community and leadership with the RedHawks. Under their leadership, the RedHawks have seen championship seasons and a long list of successful graduated players. The team would not be the success it is today without them. We wish you tremendous success in whatever comes next and we can’t wait to see you at the games.

The new ownership group also known as the “beer league guys” had a great season in Brantford as they rejuvenated that franchise and achieved more success on the ice then the team has seen in a long time. The group also spent many hours in the community of Brantford doing charitable events and encouraging their players to have community involvement. We can’t wait to see what they will do within the City of Cambridge!

Please help us welcome this new ownership team and feel free to email Eric (hockey@redhawksjrhc.ca) or Rob (president@redhawksjrhc.ca) if you have any questions about the group or the team & Jason (sales@redhawksjrhc.ca) for community relations.
